HEIFER PROJECT
Heifer’s mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth.   By giving families a hand-up, not just a hand-out, we empower them to turn lives of hunger and poverty into self reliance and hope.   A special collection is taken the fourth weekend of every month.

NEW THIS WEEK!

Souper Bowl of Caring
On Sunday, February 3 the Youth Group will be taking collections for “Souper Bowl of Caring”  all donations will go to Helping Hands here in Knoxville.  The congregation is asked to bring either non-perishable food donations or cash for kettles.

Pop Can Drive
On Sunday, February 10 the Youth will be holding a pop can drive from 3 to 5 pm at the church garage on 4th Street. Bring your cans anytime between 3 and 5 or call Brian and Katie Bishop at 828-6933 if you need someone to pick up the cans. All proceeds will be going toward the Youth Mission Trip to Denver.

Cub Scout Volunteer(s)
Through the dedication of many volunteers, the Boy Scouts of America remains the foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training in America.  And, to adults who are not currently Scout volunteers, we invite you to become a volunteer and share in the positive experiences of the Scouting programs. Belle Hickman is now a temporary resident of Park Lane Assisted Living.  Visitors welcome!

KITCHEN INVENTORY/CLEANING
Kitchen inventory/cleaning is scheduled for Monday, January 28 from 9:00-noon.  Hope you can help with this.  If you have dishes in either kitchen, please remove them.  Hope to see you then!  Thank you.  Dorothy Danner

CLEANING OF EAST KITCHEN FREEZER
We are planning to clean out the freezer in the east kitchen the first week in February.  Any items that are outdated or not dated and have no intended use will be discarded.   If you have any items you wish to retrieve, please come and get them.  Thank you.  Dorothy Danner

We are family friendly with a well equipped nursery, a full play room, and bathroom for your use.  Please feel free to use our family oriented nursery.   These areas are sound proof from the sanctuary, but you can turn on the speakers and hear the service if you would like.  Large print bulletins are available for the 8:30 service.
