Enter to Worship, Depart to Serve

Our Mission:  "To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."

WORDS OF WELCOME/ANNOUNCEMENTS

ORGAN PRELUDE

+CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader:   We come to worship the God of compassion,
even in the midst of a world where there is
                 much cruelty.
People: We gather to proclaim the gospel of Jesus
Christ once more, though we are aware that
we often lack the courage of truth and love
in daily life.Leader:   Christ, by your presence among us, give us
courage to live as your people day by day.
People:  We gather as witnesses that God is at work
in the midst of human lives, and that love,
not cruelty and cowardice, will triumph in
                 the end.
All:           Glory be to the living God of mercy and
compassion, and to Jesus Christ, the faithful witness! Amen.
