HOSPICE:   Alfred Jones (receiving hospice care at Park Lane Assisted Living).

COMMUNITY PRAYERS:  Prayers for everyone involved with the Knoxville school bus accident including the kids and driver. 

CONDOLENCES:  Condolences to Sherry Haney and family on the passing of her mother.

NEIGHBOR HELPING NEIGHBOR COLLECTION
A special collection is taken the first weekend of every month.  These funds go through the Neighbor Helping Neighbor office to help community needs.   Please mark your check memo and/or envelope to identify this purpose to contribute.

"Souper" Bowl of Caring
On Sunday, February 5 the FUMC youth will again be collecting donations for Helping Hands.  Please bring non-perishable food or cash donations that will go directly to Helping Hands.  Members of the Youth Group will be doing a special collection on this morning.

Thank you to all who contributed to the Malawi Motorcycle Project.   We have reached our goal and many will be blessed because of your generosity!

SAVE YOUR CANS AND BOTTLES
The FUMC Youth will be holding a can/bottle drive on Sunday, February 12 from 3-5p at the church garage on 4th Street.   Proceeds from the drive will go toward the youth mission trip this summer.  Call Katie and Brian Bishop at 641-828-6933 if you need someone to pick up your cans.  Thanks.

BOY SCOUT SUNDAY
Join us, Sunday, February 12, during Cinnamon Roll Sunday for a memorable review of the past as the boy scouts of Knoxville Troop 377 present last year’s experience from Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. 

VALENTINE DINNER
Bring your significant other and enjoy a lovely Italian meal for only $5.00 at Knoxville First Presbyterian Church on February 10, 2012 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.  Babysitting is available from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. for a donation.  Proceeds benefit Neighbor Helping Neighbor.

HELPING HANDS KIDS CARNIVAL

The Helping Hands Kids Carnival fundraiser will be held on Saturday, February 18th, in the Middle School gym.  There will be inflatable rides as well as many other community organizations providing activities for the kids.  F.U.N. will be having games to play, passing out gifts and providing free tickets for the kids for other activities.  All proceeds go to the Helping Hands Food Pantry.

HELPING HANDS CRISIS SHELTER OPEN HOUSE
Everyone is welcome to come see the many rooms Jesus made with his friends at Helping Hands on Saturday, February 11th at 110 West Main from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We are family friendly with a well equipped nursery, a full play room, and bathroom for your use.  Please feel free to use our family oriented nursery.   These areas are sound proof from the sanctuary, but you can turn on the speakers and hear the service if you would like.  Large print bulletins are available for the 8:30 service.
