NEW AT FUMC...

v    CONGRATULATIONS… Congratulations to Keith and Florence Agan who celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on September 12th!
v  CHARLENE KIRKWOOD Change of ADDress… Charlene Kirkwood has moved to assisted living at 2002 Broadway Place Drive, #179 O’Fallen, MO  63368 Phone #636-625-2755.
v  Thank you…Thank you to all our Church family for your prayers, calls, visits, food and cards.  We very much appreciate your efforts as Emily recovers from shoulder replacement and Derald’s vertigo shows improvement.  Thank you so much.  Derald and Emily Swisher
v  HELP WANTED…Volunteers are needed to help lead Children’s Church.  Five, four member teams are being put together to lead Children’s Church.  By having five teams, no one will have to miss church service every week and your help will be needed just once every 5 weeks.  If you would be interested in helping with this great service to our youngest FUMC family members, please let the office know.  Vicki Novak has been gracious enough to agree to coordinate the efforts and each team will have a leader that helps get the materials to the rest of the group.  We are excited to be able to offer this to the children that attend FUMC.  Again, if you would like to help, please let the church office know.
v  MEALS ON WHEELS…FUMC is scheduled to deliver Senior Nutrition/Meals on Wheels September 30th -October 25th.   Each day has four routes and meals are to be picked up at 11:00 a.m. from the Senior Center. Each route takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.  It is ideal to have 2 persons per route, but a driver alone would suffice.  Signup sheets for volunteers to deliver the meals are located on the table in the main entry way of the church. This important service could not continue without volunteers such as yourself!
v  FUN on the Farm Hay Ride…You all are invited to bring your family, friends and neighbors to the annual “FUN on The Farm Hay Ride”, at 5:00 pm on Saturday Sept. 21st.  The hay ride, wiener roast and fellowship night will be held at 1335 Hayes Dr. - Located ¾ mile east of Udders Steakhouse north of Knoxville on Hwy. 14 - the Larry & RoseAnn Rowley farm.  Hot dogs and drinks will be provided by F.U.N. IF POSSIBLE bring chips, S’mores supplies or your favorite dish to share.
v   HAND BELL PRACTICE…Seasonal hand bell practice will begin Wednesday, September 25th at 5:30 p.m. in the bell choir room.   Everyone interested in trying is welcome.  For more information call Bonnie at 641-828-8750.
