THIS WEEKEND

DISCOVERY WEEKEND

HEIFER PROJECT
Heifer’s mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth.   By giving families a hand-up, not just a hand-out, we empower them to turn lives of hunger and poverty into self reliance and hope.   A special collection is taken the fourth weekend of every month.

FUN N FITNESS IS RETURNING!
Join us on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in East Fellowship Hall, beginning October 3rd.   Men and women 55+ can enjoy 1 hour of fellowship, short devotions, and exercises to increase flexibility and balance.   For questions call Sherry Haney or Bonnie Crook.

NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The nursery is one of the places in church where volunteers serve in two ministries at once. First to the children, and second to the parents who are able to focus their attention on worship and/or Sunday school with confidence their child is in excellent care.  Volunteers are needed to staff the nursery during Sunday first service through second services for the remainder of 2012.   A sign-up sheet is in the Narthex.  Your service is an important act of hospitality of support.
