THIS WEEKEND

CHILDREN’S CHURCH at 9:30 in WFH following Children’s Time.

HEIFER PROJECT Heifer’s mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth.   By giving families a hand-up, not just a hand-out, we empower them to turn lives of hunger and poverty into self reliance and hope.   A special collection is taken the fourth weekend of every month.

NEW THIS WEEK!

THANK YOU
Thank you all for cards, concerns, prayers, and memorials in remembrance of Doris Werts.  Also, for the help moving and getting things ready for the sale.   George Werts and family

Thank you to everyone who helped with Fiesta VBS.

FILL BACKPACKS
Volunteers are needed to assemble backpacks on Monday, July 29th at 7:00 p.m. in WFH for the Back to School Event.

IMAGINE NO MALARIA
Imagine No Malaria is an extraordinary effort by the people of The United Methodist Church to eliminate malaria as a major source of death and suffering in Africa by 2015. Please join in the fight to work toward a day when malaria deaths are no longer a normal part of life in Africa.   Please join us in this fight as we work toward a day when malaria deaths are no longer a normal part of life in Africa.   Please join us in this fight as we work toward a day when malaria deaths are no longer a normal part of life in Africa. Please join us in this fight as we work toward a day when malaria deaths are no longer a normal part of life in Africa.

RAGBRAI THANK YOU
A big thank you to our organizing committee (Park, Donna, Kay & Pat) and everyone that helped with our RAGBRAI dinner!  We heard many compliments from our guests.  We had 900 meals served and a sellout of all of the food.  We couldn’t have done it without all the donations and volunteers, including setup, tear down, and servers.  Thanks again to all who contributed!   What a great success!
