This Sunday we welcome the children and families that are a part of the Montgomery Street Preschool as they share a song and smiles with us. This weekend MSPS kickoff their hoagie fundraiser. To purchase you can bring your order form with payment to the office or you may also use one of the offering envelops by marking it MSPS. When paying with a check, please make it out to the Montgomery Street Preschool. We are blessed to be a part of this wonderful ministry, let us all warmly welcome Katie Bishop (director), the staff and families.

Laity Sunday is a special Sunday established by the General Conference observed on the third Sunday in October. Laity Sunday focuses on the celebration of the ministry of all lay Christians. This year’s focus is Disciples Transforming the World – Through Presence. Laity, let’s show that we have many talents to share, and share them with the congregation, the neighborhood, the community, and out beyond the walls.
"WHERE TO NOW TRAVELERS" ALERT
We have open reservations on October 27 to enjoy a typical Amish (12:00 noon) dinner in the home of Elmina Nisley (mailing address Seymour, IA). Cost of the meal is $15.00. It is all inclusive and all home-made: meat, potatoes, gravy, vegetables, salad, rolls, choice of two kinds of pie and choice of tea or coffee and served home style. Cost of the Van is $3.00 per person. If you are interested but not on our calling list, phone Christa 842-5452. We will leave the church at 10:15 a.m.

THIS IS YOUR INVITATION TO A FREE FAMILY ACTIVITY FOR ALL AREA FAMLIES, FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS. The annual hay ride, bonfire, wiener roast and GAME NIGHT will be held at 5:00 pm on Oct 16th, at 1335 Hayes Dr.- off of highway 14 north, east of Udders Steakhouse at the Larry & RoseAnn Rowley farm.
