Thank you for your support of Ingathering. Thanks to the circles of the church for helping to make kits and money to purchase supplies. Thanks to Edna Poortinga that faithfully came to put the kits together weekly. Thanks to Leona Steele for sewing all the receiving blankets and school bags and doing all the alterations to undershirts. Can’t do this project without help! Thanks to the men that loaded the van! CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE
The Christmas Giving Tree still has some gift tags on it in the entryway. Please help our church give some Christmas joy to less fortunate families. Your generosity in the past has been greatly appreciated. Gifts need to be returned to the church office by December 14 with the tags attached. CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
The children’s Sunday School Christmas program will take place on Sunday, December 11 at 5:00 p.m. with punch and cookies to immediately following. PRESCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
The annual MSPS Christmas Program will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at 9:00 a.m. A short reception will follow the program WFH.
COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER
The Community Christmas Dinner will take place on December 25th at noon. This year we are asking for cook helpers, servers, and cleanup. Food supplies are needed to feed 100+ guests. Cash donations would be appreciated. If you would like to donate mark a “Love” offering envelope Christmas Dinner.

ADVENT DISCUSSION During the first half of the Sunday morning education hour [9:35-10:10] Pastor Lane will lead a discussion on his advent preaching series and the Book by Mike Slaughter: Christmas is not your Birthday. A limited number of discounted books are available through the office or contact Pastor Lane. Each participant will receive a free study guide. We are family friendly with a well equipped nursery, a full play room, and bathroom for your use. Please feel free to use our family oriented nursery. These areas are sound proof from the sanctuary, but you can turn on the speakers and hear the service if you would like. Large print bulletins are available for the 8:30 service.
