HOSPITALIZED:  Thurman Floyd and Joyce McCarty.

HOSPICE:   Nancy Park (Bright Kavanagh House, 3000 Easton Blvd, DSM) and Alfred Jones (receiving hospice care at Park Lane Assisted Living).

ADDITIONAL PRAYERS:  Myra Ockerman (Doran and Cora VanRheenen’s great granddaughter), Susana Swank, Phyllis Barnett, Betty Tonda, Alberta McMulin, Tom Tucker, service people and families. 

CONDOLENCES:  Condolences to Lana Rankin, Lori Rankin, Lynette Rankin, Lauretta Utterback, and family on the passing of their brother, Loren, and Lily Sterling and Lucretia Spaur on the passing of their nephew.

CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE -  REMINDER
There are 5 tags remaining on the tree.  Gifts need to be returned to the church office by December 14 with the tags attached.   Contact Beverly Sterling if you have questions at 842-5286.

PRESCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
The annual MSPS Christmas Program will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at 9:00 a.m.  A short reception will follow in WFH.

CRAZY LOVE
Our next Sermon Series begins on January 22 going through the Lent season is based on the book Crazy Love. To assist you in your journey to grow closer in your relationships with God and others, we will have corresponding small group curriculum and a reading schedule for the book, Crazy Love. A limited number of discounted books are available for $11 in the church office.  They would make great Christmas gifts!

CHRISTMAS SERVICES
Two very special candlelight services will be held on Saturday, December 24 at 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. 

On Christmas day, one combined service will be held on Sunday, December 25 at 10:45 a.m.

DECEMBER LOWER LIGHTS
Copies of the December Lower Lights are now available on the church window ledge as well as in the chapel.

SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING

Salvation Army Bell Ringers are still needed.   Please sign up in the Narthex or contact Merna if you are interested in ringing.  A schedule of the bell ringing dates, times, and locations can be found at www.kifumc.org. 

COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS DAY DINNER
The Community Christmas Dinner will take place on December 25th at noon.  This year we are asking for cook helpers, servers, and cleanup.  Food supplies are needed to feed 100+ guests.  Cash donations would be appreciated.   If you would like to donate mark a “Love” offering envelope Christmas Dinner.

We are family friendly with a well equipped nursery, a full play room, and bathroom for your use.  Please feel free to use our family oriented nursery.   These areas are sound proof from the sanctuary, but you can turn on the speakers and hear the service if you would like.  Large print bulletins are available for the 8:30 service.
