Congratulations to Keith & Florence Agan who will be celebrating their 68th wedding anniversary on September 12th.
THANK YOU!
THANK YOU REV ART HILL, for your work and service to us and our church! Art has been there to comfort us and there in times of joy, too. Park and Dr. Susan Woodle family
LAUNCHING A NEW MISSION!
Start up funds are needed for the new First United Methodist Church Basketball Academy. Our mission is to involve children in a transformational relationship with Jesus Christ through sports. Basketball Academy for 5th and 6th grade students will begin October 31st with 3rd and 4th grade beginning after Christmas. Please consider making a Love offering towards the new Basketball Academy Mission by indicating Basketball Academy in your check memo. Thank you.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The nursery is one of the places in church where volunteers serve in two ministries at once. First to the children, and second to the parents who are able to focus their attention on worship and/or Sunday school with confidence their child is in excellent care. Volunteers are needed to staff the nursery during Sunday first service through second services for the months of September and October. A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board outside of the nursery.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS NEEDED!
There is still a great need for Sunday School Teachers to help with the children and youth Sunday school this upcoming year. Some classes may have to be cancelled if teachers are not found. If you feel the calling to help with this ministry, please contact Pastor Lane, Cheryl Hennefeld, or Katie Bishop.
INGATHERING
Ingathering supply lists can be found in the church office window in main entry way.
