THE GATHERING OF GOD’S PEOPLE
PRELUDE
WORDS OF WELCOME/ANNOUNCEMENTS
+CALL TO WORSHIP:
Leader: Jesus said, “Do you
understand what I have
done
for you?”
People: Lord, we know that you are our Master
and
Teacher.
Leader: So, if I who am your
Master and Teacher
have
washed your feet, you must likewise
wash
the feet of others.
People: You have
indeed set the pattern for us,
Lord. What you have done, we must do.
Leader:
If you know these things, do them!
Trust me
from
the bottom of your heart.
People: We want to
figure out everything on our
own. Help us, Jesus, to trust more fully in
you.
Leader:
Listen for my voice in everything you do
and
everywhere you go.
People: We assume
we know it all, but only you will
keep
us on track.
All:
Help us to listen and to serve others
in love and
humility.
