Neighbor Helping Neighbor - A special collection is taken the first weekend of every month. These funds go through the Neighbor Helping Neighbor office to help community needs. Please mark your check memo and/or envelope to identify this purpose to contribute.

Congratulations to Mark and Codi Prachar on the birth of their daughter, Vada Emerson, on July 18.
NATIONALS PANCAKES
The Nationals pancakes at the armory is asking for our help again. Volunteers are still needed, especially for Friday and Saturday. Sign-up sheets are available on the table in the church entry way. Volunteers please park in the front of the armory. Call Kay Jensen with any questions at 641-842-5325.

The next Executive and general meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 6. Ron Huelse will have the program on Nature photography.
Also, on Friday, Sept. 14, we will have the South Central District Annual Meeting at Bloomfield. Registration and coffee are at 8:00 with the meeting starting at 8:30. We will car pool from the church. I need to know how many are going so that we can send in our reservations for lunch, which is $7. So please let me know before August 31.
ITEMS NEEDED
We are in need of lawn games and volleyball nets to be borrowed by the church for our Rally Day event on September 9th. Please contact the church office if you have any we can borrow for this event.
VOLUNTEERS TO UPDATE RECORDS
Volunteers are needed to update paper copies of the church membership records during daytime hours. Please contact the church if you would be available to do this anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Thank you.

We are family friendly with a well equipped nursery, a full play room, and bathroom for your use. Please feel free to use our family oriented nursery. These areas are sound proof from the sanctuary, but you can turn on the speakers and hear the service if you would like. Large print bulletins are available for the 8:30 service.
