THIS WEEKEND
Human Relations Day
Your gifts to Human Relations Day provide avenues to restored relationships through ministries like Youth Offender Rehabilitation, Community Developers self-improvement programs and United Methodist Voluntary Services community advocacy programs. It’s time to think and support justice, to become radical in changing lives and changing the world. Please give generously.
Basketball Academy Celebration Service at the Sunday 10:45 Service
Homebuilders will be meeting Sunday, January 15th in the music room during the regularly scheduled education hour.
NEW THIS WEEK!
THANK YOU
Thanks so much to those who came and helped with the kitchen inventory and cleaning. Because of each of you, we were able to get it completed on January 9th so we won’t need to meet January 16th. Everything went smoothly and we even had time for a break! Thanks again. Dorothy Danner.
DISHES
Please pick up any dishes or pans you have left in the East Kitchen. The remaining utensils will soon be donated to the Almost Free Shop. Thanks.
COLUMBIA SOUP SUPPER
The annual Columbia Methodist soup supper will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Columbia Community Center. A free will offering will be taken.
WHERE TO NOW TRAVELERS
The "Where to Now" travel group plan to attend the Columbia Soup Supper on the evening of Jan. 28. We plan to leave First church at 4:45 p.m. Calling committee will be calling soon for reservations. If you would like to be added to the calling list, phone Christa 842-5452.
MALAWI MOTORCYCLE PROJECT
To date we have raised $2637 of the $3500 needed. Please consider making a donation to the Malawi Motorcycle fund. We are now just $863.00 from our goal; your gift will help us bless many!
