THIS WEEKEND
THIS WEEKEND IS DISCOVERY WEEKEND
All of us want to experience the power of God in our daily life and American Christians rate “the spiritual growth of one’s family and self” as the top priority that congregations should be addressing. Discovery Saturday, Kevin Glesener, Chaplain at Vermeer will lead worship service and Discovery Sunday worship services will be lead by Bill Poland, District Superintendent of the South Central District, both will provide fresh insight and spiritual leadership to the congregation. Discovery Weekend invites us into a process that meets our need to grow spiritually.
THIS WEEKEND IS HEIFER PROJECT COLLECTION
Heifer’s mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth. By giving families a hand-up, not just a hand-out, we empower them to turn lives of hunger and poverty into self reliance and hope. A special collection is taken the fourth weekend of every month.
