Dear First Church Family, Thank you again for supporting me during another summer of Celebration Iowa. It seems that no matter the activity I’m involved in whether it is sports related or musical, you, my church family, are behind me more than one hundred percent! I appreciate all the ways you help me grow.
Thanks again. Love, Robert Woodle

Lacy Stevenson and her family would like to thank their church family for all the outpouring of support, cards, and congratulations we have received as she represented Marion County and then was crowned 2010 Iowa State Fair Queen. Thank you all so very much for your ongoing support.

Each day has four routes and they are currently providing meals to 59 people on a daily basis. It is ideal to have 2 persons per route, but a driver alone would suffice. UMCOR Responds To Iowa Flood
After three nights of heavy rainfall in central and eastern Iowa this month, flooding forced hundreds of residents to flee their homes. The effects of the storms were compounded by those of the snowy winter and wet spring and summer that preceded them. UMCOR provided emergency assistance to the Iowa Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church to meet the needs of communities affected by the flooding. Please give to US Disaster Response, UMCOR Advance #901670, to support those affected by disasters in the United States.
