LEADER:    O’God, give us hearts to see the things our
                     eyes overlook.
PEOPLE:   Open our hearts to feel the things our
hands can't touch.LEADER:    Open our hearts to hear the still, small voice
which sounds like only silence to our listening
                     ears.
PEOPLE:   Teach us to know you for what you really
are - not flash or thunder, but love softly
                     spoken.  Amen.

+OPENING HYMN     For the Beauty of the Earth      #92

PRAYER
God, save us from being self-centered in our prayers, and teach us to remember to pray for others. May we be so bound up in love with those for whom we pray that we may feel their needs as acutely as our own, and intercede for them with sensitiveness, with understanding and with imagination. This we ask in Christ's name. Amen.

THANK YOU
I want to thank everyone who sent cards for my 85th birthday as well as everyone who wished me a happy birthday.  I am truly blessed.   Edna Poortinga

There are never enough words or thank you to express ones feelings for all the great fellowship of our Church.  Your prayers, cards, phone calls and words of concern have helped greatly to get me through the rough road of my health issues. I know you will be there again when needed.  Thank You to Pastor Lane for special prayers, visits and being with Cora during my surgery. Sam Rathmel

The F.U.N. committee greatly appreciated all the support we received for Ag in the City.  Thanks for donating the delicious pies and all our brothers and sisters for helping set up, serving the meal, and cleaning up afterward.   We cleared around $900 which will be used to fund outreach programs of the Church.   Thank You and  God Bless!

UMW INVITIATION
The Albia Unit of Trinity United Methodist Women has invited the women of our church to a salad luncheon on Thursday, July 12, at noon in the Trinity Fellowship Hall.  Taylor Helm will share about her trip to Nigeria.
